The steak was delicious! Best one in Vernon I've had yet and the chief came out to great us.

I have eaten here a few times and always been delighted with the food. Hamburgers are amazing! Cobb Salad and tempura both fabulous. Nice wine selection. Good service.

This is the best restaurant in Vernon hands down. I always take clients here for lunch and I have often booked the private space down below to do lectures on nutritional supplements. I would say that this restaurant is in my top 5 favorite restaurants of all time. Which says a lot considering I spend a great deal of time traveling and eating out at some of the coolest restaurants in North America. It's priced really well and they've got really good vegan options.

As always the food was great. Unfortunately the kitchen couldn't keep up and appetizers came out after entrees. The staff were very apologetic but nonetheless dinner felt a bit rushed with everything coming at once.

Top notch food and service. One of the few places where you definitely should still reserve on a Friday or Saturday even into Autumn.

I love this place. The food here is spool tasty. This is the third Christmas party I have attended here and the service is just as good as the food.

My first time at this little gem. Didn't know what to expect. Ordered tuna and let me tell you it was the best l ever had. The dish presentation was an art on it's own. Every vegetable had different flavour. This was really a treat. Just as l was finishing this wonderful dish the little Japanese woman stopped at my table and asked if l liked it. It turned out she was the Chef who prepared this little piece of art for me. This was wonderful treat as l could praise this talented woman for one of the best dinners l've ever had. I thought this was a really nice touch. I was in a such a great mood that l decided to try their dessert and omg... Another amazing surprise... Hard to describe how amazing this was so l am including the picture.This is by far my favorite restaurant now so happy l stopped by 😃👍

Wanted to give it a try and was very happy I did. Got there when it opened and ordered the special. They brought us some curried popcorn while we waited for the halibut. When it arrived was not disappointed. The fish cooked to perfection was on a bed of rice with some beans ,sweet potato,carrot and squash surrounding the fish. The cook came out to ask how it was very delightful. You do pay for the dining experience but worth it.

My husband's meal was delicious however mine was just plain weird. A Thai Red Curry with agadashi style tofu. My tofu was sticky, gummy and unpalatable. I brought it to my servers attention and he stated that was what it was supposed to look like. I was disappointed.

The food here was absolutely on point. We shared a bunch of appetizers and there wasn't one thing I didn't love. The chef even comes out to see each table. It was a lovely experience, I will definitely be back.

Looking at their name, it’s hard to see what is being fused here. Digging into their menu, one discovers west coast dishes seasoned with a Japanese flair. I had the fish and chips. The batter was super crispy and a hint of tempura (of course) and the fries had a light airy crunch. The sauces also had an Asian flavour. Not your garden variety vinegar and ketchup. We also had the tuna steak, ahi tuna grilled rare with a refreshing salad on the side. A nice interpretation of East meets West.

Appealing and clean ambiance. Friendly servers and cook. Large portion of foods and very tasty. The spicy ramen bowl was especially good.

Not a cheep place. But food was top notch! The chef even came to our table and talked to us for 5 mins. Highly recommended!

I had the most amazing asian salad and fresh battered fish special for lunch, price was right, it came quickly even though the place was very busy. It was the right amount of spice, flavour was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant and I will go there again for sure. Christina

While I know people pack into this busy restaurant for the vegetarian and fish options, I'm a carnivore. On their lunch menu, is an $11.95 Homemade Hamburger. I've tried a lot of burgers in this town and can say that, if you like cilantro, this will quickly become your favourite burger. Oh, and the fries are stupidly delicious and crunchy and perfect.

Good food, although quite expensive. It is a fairly standard fine dining establishment. The cook personally came to our table to see how we were doing. Me and my dining partner had the daily special; a halibut on rice, with a variety of local produce, and apparently a plum sauce (only plum I noticed where some lightly crushed plums around the plate). Everything was fresh and flavourful, although the portions where smaller than some restraints, but still larger than many fine dining establishments.

Arrived early in the evening and the waiter (poor bedside manner, almost rude) informed us that we would have to leave less than an hour from the time we arrived as the restaurant was going to get busy. We were only 2 people and the said waiter would not offer an alternate option. We up and left without them saying us goodbye. This is the first negative review I have ever written, I was shocked by the way we were treated as we are polite and kind people. Oh well

We do not eat out very often and because this is my favourite place in all of Vernon for lunch and for dinner, I can't compare. It is the best... atmosphere is clean, zen-like and friendly. The food is prepared very consciously and the details are obviously carefully considered and implemented. I've had the fish and chips, red Thai soup, cob salad, tuna burger and also the regular burger. The Ahi Tuna burger is still my favourite so it is a repeat. The food is great, the professionalism and presentations are beautiful. I'm very grateful that they are here in Vernon. I'm going there tomorrow for my birthday lunch with friends.

The BEST food in the Okanagan hands down! Yuki is a superb chef. The ingredients are always fresh and at a very reasonable price! This is a must visit restaurant is you live in the valley. Great with food intolerance/allergies. Also, they have the best french fries I've ever had!

Excellent restaurant. Service was quick. Started with the shrimp tempura which had a delicious light batter. Then had the Chicken Curry Soba which was amazing. Large helpings, I could only get through half. Pricing is a little bit higher but worth every dollar.

I strongly encourage reservations for lunch or for dinner at this fabulous Vernon Grill. The menu items are unique and creative. We found the food to be very fresh. The service was excellent. Friendly and efficient. The price points are very reasonable for lunch. The ambiance is simple but you come for the food. Note that there is pay parking in the area, so give yourself some time to find a spot. They do have a small room for larger groups if you are planning a party or special get together. Definitely a great place to bring visitors

I am from Victoria and this little place is a gem. The tempura is probably the best I’ve had outside of Japan and the Thai halibut was perfect. Great cook on the fish and lovely little fresh farmers’ market veggies!

The food here is good but the waiter & waitress have a deplorable attitude, which in turn creates a very negative unwelcoming environment to have a meal... If you do insist on eating here though, try the ribs, the fish & chips or the burger. - As a side note, the cook is a really kind lady, and she’s quite wonderful at what she does.

Wonderful atmosphere coupled with great food! I've enjoyed dining here 3 previous times and have always enjoyed an excellent meal with prompt friendly service. My favorite is the Gluten Free Popcorn Chicken-not to be missed & the Tuna rocks! Portion sizes are very satisfying.

Honestly... this place has been one of my favorite restaurants for many, many years. The food is so worth it. Never had a meal I didn't like and the chef likes to visit tables to make sure everyone is happy. Give it a try!

One of our most favorite restaurants anywhere resides in quaint downtown Vernon! The food is excellent - highly recommend the Thai Halibut, always a favorite of ours - and the service is wonderful. If you want a great meal, try Bamboo Beach for an eclectic mix of find foods.

Really? I made a reservation for my wife’s birthday on their website about 10 days prior. Now, I know this is COVID time and all but they took the online reservation so I assumed all was well. My wife was excited for her birthday dinner out. We got there and it says “take out only”. Flabbergasted, we asked the hostess and she said “I’ve been asking the owners for weeks to change that”.Really? You have that little respect for your customers to not bother?Guess what? I’ll not “bother” going there ever again.
